​Volunteer to work 10 hours a week
​for Mobile Soup Kitchen (2 openings)

​-Prepare ingredients. Assemble soups and sandwiches.
-Adhere to proper kitchen procedures in order to maintain a safe and clean cooking environment
-Adhere to proper hand washing technique.
-Avoid cross contamination
-Light Cleaning

 
















































     

​PAID Service Window Attendant
(10 to 15 hours per week)
We’re looking for smart people with a positive attitude, transportation to and from work and an ability to be flexible. The service window attendant is the face of our entire business and attendants must be attentive and responsive to customers. Candidates must be able to anticipate the customer’s needs.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be on their feet for long periods of time
  • Professional and friendly (even in tough situations)
  • Team player
  • Effective communication skills with guests and staff
  • Quick thinking
  • Basic math skills
  • Great attention to detail
  PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Greet customers as they approach the truck
  • Explain how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods
  • Inform customers of daily specials
  • Take orders and enter in the PoS
  • Serve food and/or beverages to customers
  • Work with other staff members and be a team player
  • Additional responsibilities could include standing outside of truck to attract customers during slow periods, assisting in cooking tasks, monitoring and updating the food truck’s social media accounts
Previous culinary experience is not required for this position but an innate desire to assist others, to make the customers happy and have fun along with an ability to work hard is what we're looking for.

​PAID Fundraiser/Event Coordinator

(10 to 15 hours per week)
We're looking for someone to execute an existing fundraising plan with targets tied to the organization's operating budget and program goals. Develop and implement strategic planning priorities (e.g., grants, crowdfunding, e-giving, direct mail, events, and galas), identify audiences to target (e.g., individual, major donor groups, foundations, corporations, or government) and establish clear timelines.

​ MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Previous experience, paid or volunteer, with grant applications and fundraising events 
  • Knowledge of Weebly and MailChimp or similar
FUN FACT ABOUT US
We already raised over $25,000 and has used this money to purchase the truck, apply for 501(c)3 status and hire a crew to build out the truckFood4Good hopes to develop strong relationships with various non-profits and has already gained support from Social Enterprise Greenhouse, Crossroads and United Way of RI.
